View interactive seating →- Orchestra center seats (rows D–M in most proscenium houses) give the ideal combination of proximity and perspective. The front mezzanine is often preferred — elevated enough to see the full stage picture, close enough to read expressions.
- The rear orchestra can feel disconnected from stage energy. Extreme side sections may have limited sightlines depending on the production.
- For musicals, mezzanine center is often the best value — similar views to premium orchestra at a lower price. For plays with intimate staging, closer orchestra seats are worth the premium.
- Purpose-built theatres have dramatically better acoustics than arenas. Every seat is intentional in a proscenium house.
